More than 1,000 contestants from 53 countries participated in the fourth edition of the photo contest organized by the Lions Club Seregno Seregno AID (Assistance International Development).
The contest is organized in cooperation with UN Water, Lions Clubs International Multidistrict 108 Italy, Water for life Onlus and many municipalities and organizations in Brianza and sponsored by Brianza Acque.
ONE VISION, JOINT ACTIONS - Bringing different strenghts to mobilize civil society, governments, FAO, WFP, IFAD.
Over 200 CSOs have formal status at FAO. Feeling the need for a common strategy and seeing the advantages of combined effort, the organizations with representatives in Italy established the Ad Hoc Group of International Non Governmental Organizations with formal status with FAO. The committee meets regularly to share joint positions and to coordinate activities with FAO.
