In the light of the coronavirus pandemic and following instructions from national authorities and guidance from the World Health Organization, the World Water Day celebration event that was scheduled to take place in FAO Headquarters in Rome on 23 March has been cancelled.
While the face-to-face event will not take place in March, the World Water Day and its campaign is ongoing. We invite you to visit the World Water Day webpage on the FAO website to find out more on the World Water Day 2020 “Water and Climate Change” and how FAO together with partners of The Global Framework on Water Scarcity in Agriculture (WASAG) are supporting countries to cope with climate-induced pressures on water resources in agriculture.
