The reality of this period has reminded us in a violent way to how important it is to review the model of sustainable cities as soon as possible and to be able to guarantee access to food for all.
We therefore turned our attention to the development of sustainable development goals by focusing on goals 11 and 2 (sustainable cities and communities – access to new food production opportunities) relaunched by the FAO program and taken up by the Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition (Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition).
The speakers will give us food for thought that will be deepened during the subsequent in-depth meetings that will be carried out with on-site interviews to show the realities we want to talk about.
In particular, the project aims to accept FAO’s invitation to enhance the theme of urban agriculture as a tool for sustainable development, to encourage social policies for us in the city of Rome, in particular with stories linked to a reconquest, of new opportunities. both economic and social during the period of confinement. Stories of inclusion, enhancement of tradition, intelligent use of space.
